The Livingroom Installation

The Livingroom Series is a multimedia series of works that document and explore a continuous research process into quantum queer entanglements. The different works form a modular project with moving parts that can be adapted to the possibilities of different spaces. The pieces are developed over a series of encounters which form a process that is alive and becomes more dense over time.

The Livingroom Series currently encompasses: video art, short films, a photo exhibition, a living-room installation, a performance and a Workshops. These components can be presented all together or in parts.

Welcome to our livingroom, you can leave you shoes by the door…

This installation mimics and archives the ongoing, playful exploration of queer intimacy, sexuality, and the fluid and entangled nature of relationships.

The room invites its visitors to cross the threshold of transformation, take a peak behind the curtains and engage in their own exploration on a large pink fluffy carpet. The room includes two soft sculptures, big pink fluffy carpets surrounded by pink curtains draped in front of the walls. The curtains invite the visitors to walk behind them to immerse themselves the timeline of this entanglement.
